Our project is based in the heart of the South West Burnley coummunity, which is an area of extreme deprivation and poverty. Ourselves and the young people that we work with, have worked hard to develop our very own allotment project where the young people grow flowers, plants and vegetation. The allotment is an excellent community space that can be accessed by the community's young people and local residents.

 

The young people engaged in our project, not only get involved with the project but also with other positive activities centring around improving the envrionment and their local communities and spaces! The young people consult with the local community to find out their views on how they can improve the community and from this develop days such as community clean up days and community cohesive days!

 

We are so proud of our local community and young people for the dedication and commitment that they show to our 'Grow up' Project.
